YardMaster® Demo

YardMaster®  provides tools for the efficient expediting and loading of railcars within a plant. It allows the tracking of rail equipment inside the plant for sidings, loading racks, internal shops, cleaning facilities as well as selected storage or shop locations in the vicinity. and provides accurate placement of railcars.

YardMaster® allows the attachment of various status codes to expedite the car turnaround process. These status codes allow cars to be marked for loading, storage, maintenance, cleaning, and residual. Additional functionality includes generation of switch lists to call cars in from the serving railroad carrier.

In this example, we demonstrate various capabilities of YardMaster®. Below are some quick screen shots and descriptions of how a user can track and manage, and expedite railcars within the plant.

The screen below shows how a user can query YardMaster® to display railcars currently in or near the plant site: The GetData box allows the user to limit the search for Plant Visit records. A Plant Visit is unique to a railcar's arrival at a plant on a certain date. In this case, the user limits the search to all "ACFX" railcars.
