two year history), routing and consignee masters, and railcar profiles and sends the files
to BDS.

 | BDS Converts the Data
BDS begins conversion of the data into loadable data
sets for Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase databases.

 | Daily Shipment Feed
Our clients begins work on a shipment data feed to be used by
RAILTRAC® detailing
(at minimum) the Car ID, ShipDate, Consignee, Routing, Product Shipped.

 | RAILTRAC® Database Server
Installed
The database script is e-mailed or FTP'd to the client DBA and
BDS works with the client to size and implement the database and assign security levels.

 | RAILTRAC® Application Program
Installed
Program executables, data link libraries (DLLs), help and
initialization files are zipped and e-mailed or ftp'd to the client techie who unzips them
in a designated RAILTRAC® network directory.

 | Fleet Data Load Begins
Using an ODBC connection, the clients converted data is loaded
to the database and audited/verified with transportation managers.

 | Shipment and CLM Feeds Started
BDS personnel implement routines whereby the client's daily
shipment records and CLM records are downloaded and moved into RAILTRAC®.

 | Training Begins Immediately (Why
not?)
Client is now live with RAILTRAC® ! Users begin training the next day
using the system which now contains their own live rail fleet data. |
