RAILAcct® Demo

RAILAcct^® possesses the typical RAILTRAC^® user interface designed to allow the user to quickly learn its functions and to easily manipulate displayed records. This document is provided to demonstrate how a user might use RAILAcct^® to quickly ascertain costs incurred with a particular repair facility, for a particular Business Group, and for a particular railcar.

By accessing the car assignment history in RAILTRAC^® Fleet Management Module, RAILAcct^® is able to allocate the above costs and revenues to the appropriate business group. In the area of car repair audit, it provides functions which allow tracking and audit of car repairs. Shop and running repair invoice data can be either entered manually or imported as standard AAR files containing either AAR and/or NITL Job Codes.

In this example, the Repair History screen is used to demonstrate the RAILTRAC^® Toolbar's power to manipulate the data. Below are some quick screen shots and descriptions of how a user can manipulate railcar repair invoice records. Here is the main Repair History Screen with a GetData box to enter in the displayed parms. In this case, the user asks for all repair records accumulated for the two years beginning in January 1994.
