Resource Logistix is a third-party logistics company
dedicated to providing fleet management, logistics services, and state-of-the-art asset
monitoring and maintenance assistance to railcar shippers and owners. Using software
such as RAILTRAC® and RAILAcct®, their consultants provide additional resources to our
Licensees in fleet monitoring, expediting, railcar repair and maintenance, and maintenance
scheduling. Shippers who have RAILTRAC® and RAILAcct® hosted at the BDS data
center, have the option to assign Resource Logistix access to provide the above valuable
services.
OmniTRAX operates twelve railroads in seven states
and three Canadian provinces totaling 2,800 miles and is the largest lessor of low and
medium horsepower locomotives in North America, with approximately 300 locomotives in its
fleet. Under the direction of Bill Holt, OmniTRAX Switching Services (OSS) has
leveraged its switching expertise and power availability to become the premier provider of
cost-effective and safety-based switching services at plant storage yards and loading
facilities. OSS provides its contract switching services at yard facilities using
YardMaster® In-Plant Management Software. BDS supports OSS in its efforts to
provide safe and efficient switching services by quickly implementing OSS suggestions into
YardMaster®. This strategy provides standardized software functions to support
optimized equipment and order assignment, switching, and car maintenance scheduling at
plant facilities throughout North America.
